Chief, no problem here transferring Amex points. You probably just got hit with some random audit. Sucks but it can happen.
Re Amex. I generate a lot of Amex points every year and have found them to be extremely valuable. Coupled with the other benefits I use from Amex I’m a satisfied customer.

Update, I filed a CFPB complaint and my points were unfrozen the next day.
