Perhaps St. George would've liked a say in the matter.
FWIW, that tax was little more than a crony money grab. I still see the same CATS buses all over town with only one or two passengers.
And what happens a little over a year after the tax passes? CATS director forced to step down over unaccounted for funds.

Should the city of Baton Rouge get a say in taxes imposed only on St. George citizens?
