Ethanol has many bad properties, cleaning you pr fuel system is the complete opposite of what ethanol can do. In fact, it can damage fuel line, clog injectors, cause rust in tanks, etc...

A dirty throttle body can create a rough idle. But it's so easy to clean and one of those things you shouldn't have to pay to do. Most the time all you need is a screw driver to take the intake tube off then a good terry cloth and some intake cleaner. On my truck 2010 silverado it really did smooth the idle.
