IF anything I'd say the OC that is in the booth looking down on the game has as much (or more) say and control of how the last series is run. Dissagree if you want - but the OC can certainly dictate how the series is run... and NO I do not think Cam recommended something different and Les overruled him...

As for his salary -- based on the rest of high level college football -- LSU is getting a hell of a deal with Les in terms of salary paid vs. wins, bowl wins, team ranking, recruiting ranking, graduation rates, etc.

Stoops is paid more -- LSU has won more. Mack Brown was paid more --- LSU has won A LOT more. Arkansas paid more for Bret --- they won how many SEC games? Ole Miss is paying more ---- yep, LSU lost that game -- but who finished higher in the west and the rankings?
