my method
fry 1lb. bacon
brown of ducks real goodi mean real good
Optional step here. I sometimes make a rue after browning them off
add onions, and celery, add your stock.
I season with salt,pepper, garlic powder bay leaves. Lea&Perins, some orange juice, steens syrup and Mollasses cook the Bitches down for about 3 hrs.
if you don't make rue make a slury to thicken the gravy, serve over Wild rice or regular rice either way it will make you slap your MAMMA
