Carolina is the only team that would beat the Seahawks in Seattle. They have the D and Cam is definitely capable of pulling off a huge upset in a setting like that.
If the seeding stays the way it is now, the 49ers would have to lose in the 1st round in order for Seattle to get matched up with the 5th seed.
Am I right on this? The 1st seed is always going to play the lowest seed available?

In 2011 the Packers were 15-1 and Saints fans had already conceded that they were not playing the NFC Championship at home. Then the Giants went to Lambeau and beat the holy frick out of Green Bay and the Saints blew a chance to host the NFC Championship.
It IS possible. How often does the 1 get to the Super Bowl in the NFC? When was the last time a 1 besides the Saints got to the Super Bowl?
