What about Florida 2012?

Played A&M early in the season when Johnny was a n00b.

Defeated handily by Louisville.

Fluked out a win against ULL on a blocked kick.

And they clearly were fortunate to do as well as they did considering this year

I really think if this game was later in the season, A&M wins it all last year.

Except this year they had 16 injuries to different players.

Florida comes off more as unimpressive to me than fluky from that year.

Although their record definitely was inflated, indicated by their 4-8 record this year. (7 game dropoff in one year can't be due to sheer talent)

1998 Tennessee

Needed a miracle Clint Stoerner fumble to beat Arkansas and beat a Florida State team with their 3rd string QB (Marcus Outzen)

Also, they got help from MSU beating Ohio State. Huge upset. Saban' first big win of career at Columbus.
