Did Auburn just not beat the 2 time defending champ that was 28-1 before tonight's game?

Also won 3 of 4 national championships

Yeah buckeyes, your shite is weak.

BTW, how many ranked teams have you beat out of those 24?

tOSU deserves to be in the game if they beat MSU. Likewise, they will be. Auburn needed a prayer to beat Georgia.

Michigan State held Michigan to -50 something yards rushing.

Buckeyes are screwed.

There are some arguments that hardly need to be made.

If OSU finishes undefeated in an AQ-qualifying major football conference, they will not be left out of the MNCG.

Period. End of story.

The fact that they haven't lost a game in two years will only serve to put icing on the cake.

Yes, Auburn beat Bama tonight. This is the same Bama people have said shouldn't be a 2X defending champ cause they should never have made the game in 2011. This is the same Bama team who has lost AT HOME 2 years in a row. This is the same Bama team who was well behind KSU, ND and Oregon last year when they had one loss, and they were defending national champs.

Auburn has won 5 games over teams with winning records. OSU has 6.

OSU, if they win next week, will likely have won games against 2-3 teams who will be ranked going into bowl games (If Iowa ends up in the 20-25 range which they may well do). Auburn will have...wins over 3 ranked teams when bowl games
begin (LSU, Bama and Mizzou) ole miss and UGA will not be ranked likely.

I've tried to make as objective an argument as I can. I think the real issue is that if you have an undefeated team from a BCS conference get left out this year, what is the point to even playing the season? The SEC automatically gets a team in if they only have 1 loss?

edit: one more. OSU and PSU were not bowl eligible last year, 2 of the best 4 teams in the conference. It is hard to win Bowl games anyway, and much harder when everyone is slotted 2 bowl games higher than they should. The B1G may not have had a better record, but OSU would have been in the Rose, knocking Wisky and Michigan down a notch, making the games more competitive

As far as the Big 10 has fallen in recent years it's darn near akin to Boise.
