Contact was at sternum,

That high on the sternum is considered the "neck area" which is the terminology in the rulebook.

It's a hit the refs have been paying extra attention to this year.

I just don't see how Ahmad's BICEP to Brees NECK SKIN upon (initial contact) while both were still clearly standing would (NOT) be considered the(Head & Neck Area) of a QB.

Does the (RULE) itself suck, maybe so.

Is this a BAD call? How could it be?

His bicep/arm clearly hit Brees in the NECK as they were standing. Not just as Brees went down.

Ahmad's arm NEVER even touched Brees sternum as it was TOO DAMN HIGH :P to do so.

Either way I think the crying has more to do with the 40whiners losing than just this call, made with plenty of game left to play in which the niners even got the ball back. Saints still had to put two drives together to win. Niners could have stopped either one.

This is not even on the same level with last nights debacle or the non-call against the Patriots/Saints game. Those calls literally put or take off (Points On the BOARD!)

A call with a few minutes left in the game in which the opposing team had to score two more times to win?!? Uh…no.
