As a ULL grad I could care less what they are called. I really dont see a problem with being called Louisiana Lafayette but Ull hasn't and can't file any motions to actually become the University of Louisiana. It's not possible for them to win it in court. They can continue to brand themselves with things such as Louisiana painted in the endzone, Louisiana on the helmets and on the jerseys. There is nothing wrong or agaisnt the rules about doing that. It's just a branding thing and why ESPN refuses to call them Louisiana. A small group of ULL fans are total pussies when it comes to this and it's pretty embarassing. I like the look of Louisiana int he endzones and on the jerseys but i dont expect anyone to actually call us that.
