you got that backwards chief...Propane burns hotter... no danger in it there...but you are correct in that the orifice does need to be changed

to the OP: that setup is an accident waiting to happen...sticks out to far...too many adapters/connections...wtf? a hose clamp?
get a pre-made stainless braided line...and like someone mentioned paint that stuff once you get it shortened up...

just run is as is and shut the valve off when finished. people way over complicate things....I'd rather be huntin
