Like it or hate it, it is an issue for smokers (who make up a percentage of fellow LSU fans). Want the [entire] stadium to stay all 4 quarters? Do like other venues and give a wristband for smokers and open up a gate to let them go outside the stadium to smoke in each section.
Keep everybody happy, and they are more likely to stay. That is what this thread is about, right?
If LSU is serious about tackling the crowd issue, it's going to have to get honest with itself. And no alcohol or tobacco are 2 legit issues that keep people leaving early. People with a buzz hate to sober up early and people who are addicted to smoking get irritated once they go a few hours without one.
Or the alternative is to preach to people about how terrible and spoiled they are, and the problem will just stay. LSU's choice.
I'm fine either way.
