I think we've got about 5 maaaaaybe 6 more years of Brees as we know him until age starts to catch up. I think we can absolutely think we can make it to and maybe even win at least two Super Bowls.

When you think about it...we probably could have even made some noise last year with Payton.

Our problem last year was Spags. The offense was fine and the only reason we even managed 7 wins. Payton would have been good for a win or two maybe, but we weren't winning a SB with Spags as the DC.

I think 5 or 6 maybe a bit of a stretch but I do like that he isn't reliant on a big arm. If we give him a little more o line help I also don't see why he can't age like Warner/manning and evolve into a quicker releasing, shorter throwing qb. I was being conservative with 3 as we will probably have some significant turnover after that.

For some reason, I actually think Payton may stick around post brees now. Dude is fit as hell and I have full confidence he could develop another guy one day.
