chavis and i'm sure miles to some extent don't want to get beat deep and my bet is they worry about the secondary's ability to cover when LSU brings a blitz.
When is some defensive minded genius on the staff gonna connect the dots?

not saying i agree with the strategy just pointing out why they go in that direction. LSU defenses in the past wouldn't have a problem collapsing the pocket with the minumum rush. it opens up a world of options. that's why imo it's not just one thing on the D that needs fixin.
