Vertigo
This one gets lots of love. I like it but it's not my favorite. I like Psycho better.

North By Northwest
I put this one in a separate grouping due to it's comedy overtones combined with suspense/thriller. I love it.
I put The Birds in this catagory too, not that it has comedy overtones, but the bird attack scenes make me laugh even while I'm terrified.

Rope
I still haven't seen Rope! No excuse but needless to say it's on my list.
Another favorite of mine is Marny. The paternalistic and extreme masculine sexuality of Sean Connery's character is amazing to watch in a post-modern setting!

Rope is on youtube along with several other Hitchcock films.
Saboteur is another good one. Here's Nazi spy Norman Lloyd (Modern Family) about to fall off the Statue of Liberty. He has to be the oldest still-working actor not named Betty White.
ETA: Here's Lloyd talking about Hitchcock LINK
