Upper echelon is someone everyone has heard of. I've never heard of Scarface nor have I read mention of him anywhere.

Seriously? You need to download the My Homies album NOW!!!!! It is easily a top 10 rap album...and it is 2 CDs. It has guest appearances by 2pac, Too$hort, Master P, Devin the Dude, Ice Cube, Buschwick Bill, UGK, B-Legit and more!

The validity of your opinion on hip hop just went right out the window.

I heard of all of those guys since middle school. I've just never heard of any rapper named Scarface. I'm not arguing that he isn't any good, I've never heard him.

Wait a second...
You've heard of Bushwick Bill and not Scarface?
Sumthin's funny here...

Have you heard of "Geto Boys"?
Posted on 8/21/13 at 7:26 pm to Dr._Jimes_Tooper
Damn it feels good to be a gangsta?
Posted on 8/21/13 at 7:31 pm to The Dudes Rug
Yes
"Geto Boys" is made up of 3 rappers from Houston, Texas. Bushwick Bill, Willie D, and Scarface. Scarface is hands down the best of the 3.
Dirty south hip hop would be nothing today if it weren't for those 3 guys. Especially Scarface.

EAZY E - one of the pioneers of gangsta rap at 15 years old. Also died young.
