Pain Train,
I took the little angel's face and ran it through Portrait Professional to make it less grainy and sharpen the eyes and mouth. Plus, I lightly painted in the rope and stripes on her dress.
Looks sharp.

Oh my, How parents can survive after the tragic loss of a child is amazing. I guess just one day at a time, God bless her and your family.

Again thank all of you for the interest that you've taken in our family, and the picture. I've always been a big fan of the work you guys do here. I often show Sarah some of the comedy that goes on in many of the photos you guy play with. I have also noted the seriousness that other pictures are dealt with. I had no doubt that you guys would do a fantastic job on our angel, and Mary. Sarah was particularly close to her mom, whom she nursed through her cancer up until the end. Deidra had passed away only months before her mom began to lose her battle with breast cancer, so the burden on Sarah, you can only imagine. Sarah is her mother made over, and Mary was a wonderful mother. She worked 3 jobs while raising 5 kids for which I always admired her. When Sarah first brought it up about the picture being ruined I had no doubt that you guys would do a wonderful job with the picture. Hopefully none of you will ever know what it feels like to lose a child. It's a never ending pain in your heart. Every dad knows how special their little girl's love is to them. Daddy is always a daughter's first love. You only have to watch the videos of returning soldiers, and how their little daughters attack them upon seeing them. But real horror is for a mother who is witness to her childs death, which Sarah was. Sarah was in the front yard waiting on Deidra to cross the street when the school bus drove over her. I don't want to get into the rest of the details but they are horific as well. So now you understand how grateful Sarah and I are of the care and patience you guys worked on the photo. God bless all of you.

Best thread I have ever had the honor of reading here on TD. vjp, I have a daughter who is 4 and looks a lot like your angel there. You've made me want to leave work early and go home and hug her for the rest of the night.

vjp819 you to me is the absolute definition of
a great husband and father, the pain you must be going through surely must be unbearable, but through
all that you are going through, you did this to help
your wife heal, i think this is the the most unselfish act of love i have ever seen. You and Sarah will always be in our hearts. #STAYSTRONG.
