Ryan is a sound DC just like Spagnuolo was. But you have to have great athlets to make those schemes look good. None of which the Saints have, maybe a couple here and there.

I've gotta be honest with you, I've never been a big fan of his.
But what can you do? I like his aggressiveness, I like his attitude and I like him on a conceptual level but it just hasn't tended to translate.
He did have success in Oakland at points. It's hard to nitpick with what he did in Cleveland as they kinda forced him into a 4-3.
I dunno.
