Over the yrs, tulane has used LSU money to keep its athletic programs afloat. Which is all well & good till you factor in that the weenies have always turned around & shite all over Tiger fans wanting to watch a particular game. A friend is a college football ref & he told me that in the weenies' last game in TS, their HC walked down to the back of the endzone where the refs were having a pre game huddle. He started waving his arms in the air, circular wise, indicating that he wanted them to keep the clock rolling, i.e. he wanted to get the game over with as fast as possible. My friend has called games for over 25 yrs & said he's never had a HC do that before. So..why play them if the HC wants nothing to do with LSU on the playing field?

If true, then it was 2008, the middle of the Bob Toledo era. Tulane has a new coach, new attitude, and has made huge strides in recruiting.

The same coach that in an interview the morning of the game said his players couldn't hope to "hang" with LSU (what kind of a coach says that about any opponent?!?!?), and then watched his players take a 9-7 lead with seconds to go in the first half.

Tulane may fix its problems or it may not. But pointing to the actions of Bob Toledo to make your case isn't very relevant.
