My dad lived in North Stadium back in the early 70's.

He said the living conditions were terrible.

My dad lived in the North Stadium during the early 80's. I can remember him saying that it felt like he was living in a cubicle.

I lived on the 5th floor of the Stadium for one semester of my freshman year in '67. Huge room as dorm rooms go; no roommate and quiet hall. Room was newly renovated. No A/C of course. The hall next door was crazy and I don't see how anyone down there studied (they didn't; the serious students, a couple of whom went on to med school, always went to the library).

But the actual rooms were not too bad. Had to be careful on game nights not to walk in the buff down the hall because the halls had windows onto the ramps leading into north stadium seating.
