This team seems like it's potentially more talented than the 10-11 Hornets were. 10-11 has an edge at guard with Chris Paul and Jarrett Jack, but I don't think having the stable of Holiday/Evans/Gordon/Rivers is too far behind. Neither squad was especially strong at small forward, and the Pelicans are better down low with Davis than with Okafor.
I could see the Hornets having a better season though. Hard to say, I think they'll be close.
