He should have just said something really generic and it would've been done with instead of the completely avoid thing. He could have just said" it's an unfortunate situation and thats all I can say"
I dont think the reporter wouldve done anything differently. Gronk said the first time "im not going to talk about that" calmly and nice, they guy kept pressing
quote:
The interviewer should have let them know before the interview and they should have been a little more aware because it should have been pretty damn obvious they were going to ask about that.
Most these interviews, the interviewers tell the agents what they are going to ask, but when the cameras on they like to just throw stuff off the script to get a good story out of it
And It didnt look like he was surprised by them asking, just politely declined to talk about it until the guy asked 3 different times and Gronk said frick this im out

I see absolutely nothing wrong with what Gronk did, and I don't like the guy. He did what he should have.
The reporter kept asking to get something out of anyone and completely disrespected Gronk's original, polite decline to answer. Gronk was right to want to get up and walk away.
The reporter isn't just trying to ask about a penalized TD celebration, he's asking about a murder charge on a guy who Gronk has been good friends with over the past few years, I assume.
