re: Anyone had Bell's Palsy? (UPDATE--Pg. 5)

I had bp about 10 years ago. It lasted about 6 months. I felt like it was the end if the world. I also thought I had a stroke. But the doctor was quick to say it wasn't. I did the steroid shot treatment and also excercise therapy on my own. From what I gathered it could have been three things. I would say stress played a lot. Cause I just been laid off then BP kicked in soon after. Or maybe I was playing with my girlfriend at the time and she accidentally slapped my left side of my face. Lastly I did have the ceiling fan on high speed.
