Mostly his elite defense. Jennings and Ellis are inefficient chuckers with no defense so I don't think they could even hold Jrue's jock. I didn't realize how good Teague was this year but I don't hear him praised around the league as being one of the best perimeter defending point guards in the league. If he could put up 8 assists a game on that Philly roster then I could see him easily get near 10 a game here.

meh, that's inconsequential. Playmaking isn't limited to assists. I agree about his defense, although I wouldn't say elite. Jrue's value is only going to be defense and getting AD the ball.
I will say this, after the trade I saw posters labeling him as a Top 5 PG. He's not on that level.
