Come on, man. got 2 meaningless hits at the end of the OU blowout you don't have to know a single thing about baseball to watch LSU & see that the poor kid is totally overmatched. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but it's still true. Would you want him up in a clutch situation before any other starter? Of course not...& you wouldn't want him up before any other legitimate bench guys either. Again, we're talking .190 w/ a .288 obp
With those 2 hits in the OU game, did he have more or less hits than McMullen, Katz, and Ibarra?
Didn't they face the same team? Who cares if it was in a blow out. I'm not saying he is anywhere close to the quality hitter that these 2 are... but 2 hits > 0 hits all day everyday. And in "clutch situations" he comes out almost every time any way, so that is moot.

would prefer on base percentages please
The team's OB% for the tournament is .371 and Stevenson is at .333
My point is that Stevenson doesn't deserve the blame for anything. He is actually exceeding what he did in the regular season (when LSU won a pretty good amount of games) while 2/3 of the team is not doing what they did in the regular season.
I do have faith that they will turn it around tomorrow though!
