Methinks your math is off, way off
I drive an SUV that gets 14mpg. My gas bill is $4K a year.
I can travel long distances and not have to wait an hour to refuel. How much is your time worth?
And I paid less than half on my loaded SUV, than what a loaded Tesla will cost. At 0% interest.

The Model S isn't for everybody. That doesn't mean the car isn't remarkable.
