NYC has everything:
They have a rice pudding place for example (It's awesome btw)
What do you want food wise? There are great sandwich shops like Katz' and the like, great steakhouse like Sparks, Ben & Jack, DFs and Peter Lugs of course. Phenom pizza like Lucali or Lombardo's. Brunch spots are amazing; clinton street bakery, Cookshop, Stanton Social, Essex House
Great fishbar in midtown east called Crave. Avra is good around there too
