Ended up starting with the Blackened Shrimp & Grit Cake and the Duck Confit. Loved trying both of these. The shrimp were flavorful and I liked the house made bacon vinaigrette. I ended up liking that more than the duck confit.

For entrees we ordered the Smoked Wagyu Beef Brisket with Garlicky Parmesan Fries and the pulled pork cake. I was thoroughly impressed with tasting both. The meats were absolutely tender and the Parmesan fries were a nice complimentary side to the brisket. I also was surprised at how much I liked the pork cake.

We split the Krispy Kreme bread pudding which was tasty but very rich. It was good but it wasnt something I wanted to eat a lot of after having such a large meal.

Service was really good. We sat outside on the front porch where there are three tables for outdoor dining. It was a nice evening to do that. I would absolutely go back and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice mid scale date restaurant in New Orleans.
