Danny McCray comes to mind.
Ryan Clark was a solid player at LSU, but I don't think anybody was expecting him to have such a great pro career.

I always thought McCray was a really good unsung hero type player at LSU. It seems a lot of people on this board put him in the Karnell Hatcher category.

Was a fantastic player. Started all four years, and wouldn't have beat Duke in 06 without him. Definitely above average, IMO.
