I'm sure some Tebow supporters will agree with him but I find both arguments idiotic. The Jets would have undoubtedly played him last year if they thought he was the best choice. If he was humiliated by that then that's the nature of sports (not playing when someone else is better). Them releasing him today was also partially spurred by them picking up Geno Smith. They were probably also hoping to get someone like a Jacksonville etc to give up a draft pick if they wanted Tebow

Not saying I completely disagree with your argument, but how do you justify:

1) Putting Tebow as a Punt Protector (seriously wtf?)
2) Playing Tebow as a decoy WR
3) Not playing Tebow as a QB when the Jets season fell apart; they could've saw what he had as a QB
4) If they were gonna release him, why not do it before the draft?

Right now, every NFL roster is full. He was probably not gonna get a shot on another team anyway IMO, but this does come off as a "bitch" move by the Jets.

Because they could see in there practices he was shite compared to even Sanchez. When Mr Buttfumble is outpacing you that does not build confidence in the coaches to play you.

To try and lure a shite team like Jacksonville or Oakland to give up a pick. Any pick for him.
