pete rose is one of the biggest a holes on the planet and redeeming himself is a laughable notion. he thought (and probably still does) he was bigger than baseball and what he did should not be forgiven in his lifetime. when he dies, i would support him to HOF but not before. granted, he was one of the best ball players i ever saw play and i've seen a lot of 'em.
