To the OP, most of the bridges over the Comite/Amite/other Fla parish rivers have unimproved public areas under the bridge where combat launches are feasible. Some are more difficult than others. I've launched from all the bridges over the Comite from Hwy 10 west of Clinton to Deerford. Unless you see a posted sign they are probably public, and evidence of bank fishermen is usually a good sign. Drive on both sides and look for vehicle tracks.
