Where? Was he in one of the cages? I missed that. But then again, they also snatched up corpses, so maybe that's it.
Yeah, he was in a tank with some sort of breathing mask and liquid around him.

But it seems all too likely Alec identified his seedy nature and desire to be rich as the perfect patsy to get caught up with Kogame. Alec pulled the strings, arranged to have Kellog sent back because he knew Kellog would be the perfect type of person the persuade his younger self to team up, and jump start Sadtech.
This was my take as well.

I disagree. Carlos moral compass is as steady as it comes. He may now disagree with the genesis of CPS, but that doesn't mean he's instantly on the other side. He's too ethical to join up with a terrorist organization. It was too far of a pendulum swing.
I saw it more as a desperation thing. He was just completely lost. He knew he was a wanted man after punching his boss and freeing Keira. Not many options for him. And he has had many civil conversations with Alec's brother, and was pretty much defending him against Keira all season long. He's not been portrayed as 100% against Theseus this season, even though he has a strong moral compass. He knows the mayor is completely corrupt, and now he knows the police are too, so it's not out of the question to see him go to the other side. Particularly when he is hanging out with someone who already has in Betty.

Over the course of doing some selective rewatching, I started to clip out all the future flashes. Then I just got carried away. I've somehow managed to get in touch with my inner-nerd, and now have an edited 1.15 hour long segment in which I tied together every future scene and put them in chronological order.....starting with New Pemberton and ending with the execution chamber. There's something wrong with me.
While I still can't figure out how much Alec & Julian collaborated on everything, it's apparent that he played Julian to some degree to further his mission to send key members of Liber8 back. And I know he wants desperately to change the course of history, and I believe from rewatching is that he feels personally responsible and guilty for so much of the innocent deaths. How/why its bad that so many dies but Kogame going Tim McVeigh on that building is OK, makes no sense to me.
Anyway, if anyone knows how to upload a half gig video file to share, let me know, I'd be happy to let anyone watch this if they want.
