OK....so I am dumbfounded....way, way too much back stabbing and double agents
So Escher begat Alec begat Jason. I'm only about 70% convinced this is actually the case. Future Alec is even more and more confusing with each word that comes out of his mouth. His statements contradict each other, and his actions find a way to even contradict his statements.
I'm surprised they killed off Emily, I thought for sure Carlos was getting the axe. However once Alec jumped into the magic time orange to save her, I can see where the door leads for season 3. I'm glad Travis is dead (hopefully) as the writers never once really fleshed out his motivations and his character just became more and more 'in the way'
Kellog comes in a close second to Alec with 'what the frick is your deal?' Stay. Go back. Your team. Their team. Switch sides. Just fricking die already, and how unbelievably shitty is your high tech security system? I swear the cleaning lady's kids probably have a key to the lab.
Alright, so the Freelancers are just zealot time cops with a moral compass? How is imprisonment going to fix the timeline?
Why would Carlos and Betty the Mole go to Theseus? It seems so completely improbable. That whole decision from quitting the force to landing there is way too much of a jump without some dialogue. Finally, the Asian time warrior is a mystery. How does he go from bad arse time criminal to a ghost to Freelancer?
I was hoping a marathon rewatch would help, but I'm not so sure anymore

Yeah, Jason is pretty clearly his son, who knows on Escher. I'd like travis gone too, but looked like he was alive at the end there, though it's pretty retarded if he is alive.
Kellog's motivation makes sense really. He would like to stay i the past and be rich, but he values his own skin more.

Yeah, the imprisonment thing makes no damn sense, killing them altogether would fix any problems for good. But they need a way to keep the story going I guess.
The Carlos thing makes sense to me, they've been setting up the police force as the bad guys all season long, going to the opposite side of the fence makes some logical sense.
Be interesting to see how they flesh out the freelancers and wtf happened with the asian guy.
Anyway, I thought was another damn good season, definitely has kept me interested.
