Taking a different spin on this, maybe this mindset is the reason that Mo Isom couldn't make the team... less to do with her ability and more to do with team chemistry?
You gotta assume that the players would have had the same attitude towards a woman as the comments Blue made about gays. Then again, maybe that's how all players feel about kickers in general....

Just listened to the Blue audio clip.... now i'm f*cking pissed.
His comments were that a gay player would have to prove himself to his teammates to the extent that they know they can rely on him to make the plays on the field.... something that EVERY college football player is expected to do.
Absolutely nothing wrong with those comments.
