I've said this from the beginning. Thing is the show was offered to HBO, AMC, Showtime, and NBC. The creator wanted Jonn Ham for Draper after he read for the part and Hamm refused to do nudity so HBO and Showtime turned it down. AMC outbid NBC by a ton from what I remember.
