Do people orb walk with Kog when his W is active? I feel like you would lose too much DPS trying to orb walk since the attack speed is so high. I've never really gotten terribly comfortable with the attack move or orb walk.

Really good players don't let kog stand still, so if anything orb walking is more important on kog.
