I went see Elbert Robinson play last night. He plays on a poorly coached team that does not try to utilize his size. They play out of control most of the time and do not really run anything on the offensive end. He finished with 17 pts, around 12 rebounds and 5 or 6 blocks.

He is really raw and needs to drop at least 30 lbs.

Pro's
Size. Kid is legit 7 footer
Shooting touch - nice touch from the line.
Hands - made some nice catches.

Con's
Strength -Had the ball stripped from him numerous times and was moved out of the lane by much smaller players.
Toughness -Plays soft. Looks uninterested.
Leaping ability - reminds me of big baby in this sense. Hope losing weight will help.

Hopefully once he gets on campus and starts working out he will drop weight and get more physical. I think after a couple years of good coaching he will become a force, but he is not a guy that will contribute right away.

I watched a game tape of him from last year, and saw pretty much exactly what you described about his game.I will post it if I can find it.
