Stevie Wonder is my favorite one

I love both body of works and I can't choose between them. I'm pretty sure most pianists would think Stevie Wonder superior at playing the piano, though. My only complaint about Stevie is that he doesn't know when to end a a song.

That's what I love about him, that funk, soul and energy he brings to everything he does

Stevie wonder. And that's not a knock on Elton John, he's almost equally fantastic.

Don't diminish Elton's songwriting skills because Bernie Taupin wrote the lyrics. Songs are nothing without melody... good ones, of which Elton has had plenty, are hard to produce. Lyrics are cheap. I could spit some out right now, but I sure as hell can't write music.
This.
Elton is a master of melody, more so than Stevie Wonder.

Stevie Wonder and it's not even close.

The only thing I'd give Elton over Stevie is showmanship.
Better glasses, that's for sure.
I grew up an Elton John fanatic but in retrospect I think Stevie Wonder is a better piano player and overall musician.
