Louisiana will shine bright Houston may be in Texas, but Louisiana is ready to invade in a big way on Saturday. They standout group will be led by five-star New Orleans (La.) St. Augustine running back Leonard Fournette. Five-star Leonard Fournette will represent Louisiana in the Rivals Camp Series Houston.
The 6-1, 225-pound back has drawn comparisons to Adrian Peterson and holds offers from every national football powerhouse in the country.
Fournette will be joined by New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr duo of defensive lineman Gerald Willis III and athlete Speedy Noil, who come in at No. 42 and 104, respectively, in the Rivals250. The nation's top tight end and LSU commitment, Jacory Washington, out of Westlake (La.) was one of the first to register for the event, and in the trenches are Rivals250 talents offensive lineman Garrett Brumfield (No. 131) and defensive end Davon Godchaux (No. 210).
Joining the Rivals250 group is a stout group of defensive backs who hold double-digit offers. New Orleans (La.) St. Augustine cornerback Jermaine Roberts, who holds offers from Texas A&M, Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma, Florida State, and Nebraska, and River Ridge (La.) John Curtis duo Terrence Alexander and Mattrell McGraw, who both hold offers from Nebraska, Arkansas, Arizona, and Arizona State, among several others, will attend.
Then there is Covington (La.) defensive tackle Garrald McDowell, who recently added offers from Alabama and Ole Miss to go along with Arkansas and Kansas State.

Sione Palelei was invited and is attending, fwiw. Interested to see how he stacks up with prospects rated so much higher. I think he surprises the experts.
He just measured 5'10 196.
