Laird grew up on the mean streets of the north side of Monroe....15th most dangerous city in America. You have to be hard core to survive OCS.....dude had to play baseball to get off the streets...and I'm sure was shot at repeatedly by the thugs driving down Hwy 165....

Yeah, can you imagine Laird walking thru the mean streets of Little Cuba and River Oaks just to get to school.
