Good for him. Film looks great.
quote:I'm a recruiting outsider, but how many CBs would we consider taking in this class? Hardeman committed, high interest from Tony Brown, then who else? Adoree is possible but unlikely (correct me if I'm wrong). It doesn't seem unreasonable to take 3 CBs in a class; Roberts looks like he could be a good choice for our third.
there just isn't any room for him I thought

I look more at DBs as a whole and then move them in the secondary as need be.
Let's assume that Voorhies moves to WR like he think he is and Hardeman stays committed.
1. Hardeman
2. Tony Brown
3. Ed Paris
4. Hootie
5. Brandon Simmons
Then you do have a guy like Adoree who keeps calling us his dream school/offer, so it will be interesting how that plays out over the year. I think those 5 I have listed are solid takes and guys we all have a great shot with. Where they play in college is unknown because Paris and Hootie could possibly play CB or S in college.
That video says Roberts is 6', but he is closer to 5'10" I think. It all depends on how many DBs the staff wants to take because taking 6 is pretty much a quarter of your class at just one position.
We may push for Roberts late I feel but if he commits to A&M early, it may become a battle for him

A&M already has 2 highly rated CBs committed for 2014 - Nick Harvey and one other, whose name I can't remember.
Cedric Collins, but at the same time LSU will be taking the two top DBs from the state of Texas in Brown and Paris according to 24/7, so competition will be there at both schools regardless
