Great...another self-righteous arse wipe who can't read the orginal question. If I wanted to be told to not drink and drive i would have attended a M.A.D.D meeting (I have no beef with M.A.D.D). I feel like I am talking to a bunch of R-tards.
and yes....
How's that sound?

I would almost bet for sure that there will be another checkpoint. And I understand about the DD and to drink and drive, but between the Bash, Bayou Country Superfest, Taste of Tailgating.....the BRPD has garnered a poor reputation for setting up these checkpoints.
And the folks who hold these events in Baton Rouge will take notice. Now I know some of you will say who cares, take the drunks off the streets etc. but as a previous poster pointed out some people were not even over the legal limit.
I live in NOLA and do not have a DD so I am staying home. I am actually glad the ticket sales are down because people need to take notice of the BRPD's "business" practices. This has nothing to do with getting drunk drivers off the street.
