anyone hunting tensas refuge lately

Was wondering if anyone was having any luck hunting refuge lately with all the high water Im planning on heading up there for the last week

Really? I saw an old buddy of mine post a pic on FB today in a boat going into the refuge to hunt.

I mainly hunt on my land which joins the refuge was just curious if anyone had any luck lately

yea... im not going to tell you on the public land map where a big arse deer was killed.

Been up for last 3 days. Friend of mine shot a high rack buck , trailed it for 600 yards, alot of blood got late and had to back out. Went across a bayou with a flat boat and boated in 800 yards trough the woods, was tough going . Boat owner didn't want to go back to look the next day. Lot of water some roads are closed. Had to drive through about 18 inches of water on the road to get to my camp. Waited for other peeps to drive through when they made it I followed. Saw two trucks that must have got water. Parked on the side of the road.

I'm gonna go this weekend and take my boat and try to get to my camp I hate ur buddy lost his buck I know that feeling we haven't seen a lot of deer this year but did kill a nice one thirty inch ten point early december
