Did anyone read the full transcript of the interview?
I did and Schaap was weak as frick. Teo pretty much blames the newspaper reporters for all the fake details of them meeting, which makes no sense, and Schaap just lets him go with that.

Yea, so no follow up questions like,
"Hey Manti, when the South Bend Tribune was reporting that you and Lennay met in 2009 at a Stanford game, why not correct them?"
I guess that would be considered rude to ask questions like that, right?

Yeah some of his shite was mere softball style, as opposed to questions
JEREMY SCHAAP: This is a terrible day. You're thousands of miles from home. Your parents, your grandmother, and you get a phone call that she's gone.
MANTI TE'O: Uh-huh.
EREMY SCHAAP: Via text?
MANTI TE'O: Text message. And a few hours later I found out that she passed away.
JEREMY SCHAAP: I mean, this is an act of almost inconceivable cruelty.
MANTI TE'O: Now that I look at it…

No, Schaap was doing exactly what he was supposed to do - toeing the ESPN company line...the "Te'o is a victim in all this" bit.
ESPN is no different than the rest of big media in this country...determined to create and control the narrative, and utterly incapable of admitting they may be wrong.
