Didn't see the Chicken Bowl, so can't say if Nike has found a way to make a jersey with longer shoulder stripes that is "High Tech." Can't comment on the numerals either, but there is no reason I can think of to change from the traditional full block numeral font that have been on LSU jerseys since at least the 60's.
Yall see Bama changing their jersey numeral font just for the sake of change?
