If so, tell me how you felt about this season. I thought it was funny, but I was disappointed on how they seemed to move further and further away from the actual league as the season progressed.

Yeah, at this point, the FF stuff feels forced.. but the rest of the storyline isn't bad.

They need to entirely remove the stupid cameos. I haven't liked a single one. Most are tremendously forced and aren't remotely humorous.
Some of the episodes this season were total trash. I don't mind them moving away from the Fantasy, but at least bring the funny which they have failed to do on a regular basis this season.

I thought season 2 was the best, and for me that season stuck to what the show was "supposed" to be more than seasons 1 and 3. I watched season 1 after season 2, and thought it tried too hard to be funny just by throwing in edgy or gratuitous sexual humor - kind of like AHS did this season, just throwing in stuff for shock value. In season 3, the show is just trying to be a little too cool. Still enjoy each and every season, and its one of the few shows that has episodes I'll watch more than once, but I enjoyed season 2 the most.
