Yeah only experience really is with crown mixed.

I'll look at getting one of those four that were mentioned. Did hear some good things about Basil Hayden as well.

I cut my teeth on it, so to speak. You should do fine with it. You can go on the rocks at first then work your way to a small handful of "rocks".

All of the suggestions you've received are good, but I'll add one. 1792 is a very easy sipper that I recommend to people getting into bourbon.

I haven't tried it yet, but Martin's currently has a single barrel pick of it.
