Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my AR. I've tried several types of ammo and I cant get it to cycle right. I tried different mags too. I used Tula, Monarch, and Federal American Eagle. All 55gr FMJ. I thought it might be short stroking with the cheap ammo, but the bolt locks back with only one round in the mag. It had several issues the last time I used it, it would not pick up the next round, and it tried to load two rounds sideways it looked like. The tip of the bullet missed the chamber and the bcg struck the side of the casing jamming it. Do ya'll have any idea on where I should start with trying to fix this. I picked this gun up off a guy that needed some funds. I guess I know why he wanted to get rid of it.

Not really trolling. I chime in here and there when the BS is starting to overflow. JMHO (BS overflowing). Of course there is a lil pride here. When I hear or see someone make a statement I believe to be untrue, I speak up. We can call that trolling if you like.

I am however currently building my first mid length. So far, spikes lower and upper (which fit like a glove). Both are stripped. I like putting it all together. I'm trying out an RCA BCG that I ended up splurging on during the craziness. Can't decide on DD, Bravo, or Rainier for the barrel. The rainier was what I really wanted to try out, but I'm getting kind of tired of waiting on them.

I already know the quality I have in the products I'm putting together (with the exception of the RCA BCG). I'm not going to linger on it though, cause the 300 BLK is next.
