This may seem like an elementary question, but before I drop some cash: Are all AR-10 mags interchangeable like AR-15 mags?
I will build and AR-10 after the hysteria (if I still can). I can buy some mags right now, since they may be banned after tomorrow.

No. Here is how I understand it. No guarantee this is perfect:
Armalite: modified M14 mags.
RRA & Bushmaster: FAL mags.
Everyone else: Original AR10 mags. Magpul makes a Pmag too. If you're building and you don't have a bunch of FAL or M14 mags you bought (and lost in a boat accident) you DEFINITELY want to buy one that takes Magpuls. Magpul AR10 mags may not be as stupid as AR15, I don't know.
